Dream College US Scholarship
The Dream College US Scholarship is a one-time scholarship in the amount of $500, awarded to high school seniors who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and compassion, and strive to impact society. The awarded students are expected to enroll full-time at an accredited 4-year US college or university in the year after they graduate from high school.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be a US Citizen or legal residents of US.
- Applicant must be a high school senior.
- Applicant must plan to enroll full-time at an accredited 4-year US college or university in the year after they graduate from high school.
Application Process:
- Applicants should fill out the application form. (Please contact us to obtain the application form. )
- Applicants should submit official transcripts for all high school courses and courses taken elsewhere.
- Applicants should have one letter of recommendation submitted on their behalf.
- Applicants should submit an essay of 600 words or less based on the given prompt.
- Applicants are not required but encouraged to submit a portfolio of supplemental materials, including but not limited to, publication, visual arts, music recordings, video, crafts, to help substantiate your activities and achievements.
Finalists will be selected for an interview. The winners selected should verify all self-reported information with appropriate supporting documents.
Timeline:
- The deadline to submit the application is May 1st.
- The finalists will be interviewed in May.
- The winners will be announced by June 10.
Essay Prompt:
In 600 words or less: Describe something that you truly enjoyed doing or are passionate about.
