Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
1) Do you work with students outside of the US?
Yes, we work with students from all 50 states in the US and from all over the world. We can work with students anywhere there is Internet!
2) Why should I use college application consulting services?
Based on a recent study, each student applies to 15-20 colleges on average. Top-tier colleges receive tens of thousands of applications each year. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult for an applicant to stand out among their peers. Each year, we hear stories about strong candidates with immaculate credentials who get rejected by their dream schools. A recent survey of students in the Ivy League found that 26-30% of admitted students used consulting services. Our personalized, one-on-one counseling will help you grab the attention of admissions officers and win a coveted spot on the “Accepted” list. Moreover, your adolescent student is increasingly seeking independence, so parental advice and guidance can sometimes lead to heated exchanges. Similarly, your school counselor has to deal with dozens, sometimes hundreds of students at the same time. We can help you relieve tension at home while giving your student our undivided attention.
3) When should we start using college application consulting services?
You can start at any time. But think about it: if you start right before or even during your application process, we can only help you polish your applications. While this is still extremely helpful, you lose the opportunity to have us help you build a strong, coherent profile, which is the foundation of a solid application. Our most successful students start with us in 8th or 9th grade. Not only do we help them build academic and extracurricular activities, but we also get to know them in person and over an extended period of time, so that when it comes time to submit their applications, we can make their strengths and personalities stand out.
